Hey 👋 I finally finished a first version of the K1 Assembly CAD model. It's available on makerworld. Sorry for the inconvenience

No there is no technical limitation. I just prefer how makerworld works, it's easier for creators and users IMHO. And I want to boost my audience there
Grazie per questo file che hai realizzato, il file stampato funziona perfettamente sulla mia k1 Max, era da tempo che cercavo questo file per replicare la copertura, e dare anche un colore diverso al copri motore.
Allego foto dimostrative.
@Henlor si è perfetto!!! Grazie mille Sei il NUMERO 1!!! 😉💪😅
@ElettronicaAr_694547 eccellente! 👌 grazie mille ;)
Added some more material around the screw points and put my logo on it. Also made one for the lid as well. I know you said this wasn’t print ready, it’s pretty print ready. Thanks for sharing!!
@tbkMAKER Nicely done ;)
@Estabes_2025840 that's nice :)
Step files are now available too.

Great work.
Is this an precise model ? Are the hole distances fitting? I would like to use it for my small CAD project.
@VladislavBos_1827630 I've update the hole positions ;)
@Henlor thank you ^^
@Henlor I extracted the build plate geometry from your file. I exported to a DXF file and cut to a magnetic stainless steel sheet. As in the picture :)
@Pelu_2545072 ooooooh that's cool! thanks for sharing 😁
works on k1max too ? my right z rod have 3 or 4mm more on top than botton :( just on right side
@UncleGeek_1110734 I never tested to print those parts. They are not optimized for fdm printing. They might be to weak as is.
But could you send a picture of your issue. From what I understand your issue might coming from the collar at the bottom of the leadscrew. Try to untighten the 2 screws on it and push the leadscrew up. And tighten the screws back again. The collar might be glue to the leadscrew but if it moved that's probably not the case anymore (edited)
Henlor, I see a beautiful aesthetic in your work. Do you have any work such as graphics or painting in your past? I would also like to ask this. As Core xy, which portal do you find most successful? voron bamboo and others?
@braincure_404093 Thanks. Yes Indeed, have a degree in graphic design and do a bit of photography at some point. For now I'm working as front end dev / UI designer. I love creating stuff and learning new things. And I really like designing / creating physical objects through CAD / 3d printing or even woodworking/wood turning. I have too many passions ^^
Concerning the CoreXY, I don't know anything about the bambulab portal, so I couldn't tell.
But I have a Voron Trident and it's pretty good. And I love the community and the open source hardware printers in general. It's a paradise for people like me who likes to thinker :)
I've just added many other sizes and kinds of screws for this mod. Enjoy ;)
Oooh, nice. Thank you so much for all the designs you're publishing for the K1 community. You are the best. o7
It will be interesting to see what one of us can come up with for this mod on the K1 Max due to the lidar bracket location on there.
@dirtsky_5229 I agree, I'm tempted to make thumbscrews for the extruder motor too! would make clearing jams and clogs way easier
Super simple easy print. I did the M3x8 option and printed out a mount that would move the camera out of the way. Turned out really good and is a nice little accent piece. I also do a lot of fan duct testing, so being able to unscrew this by hand is a great touch. Another great design by @Henlor. Always excited to make what he designs. Always so so so soooo good. Thanks for sharing!!!
@tbkMAKER Thank you! I'm glad you appreciate my designs 😊
This was my first time printing ABS and it took me a couple of attempts due to my own error. With the right filament settings and following the print settings provide on the page. My print came out pretty good.
I had printed the authors tool head as both that and the fan duct were destroyed.
I managed to reassemble the entire head. It now matches the theme and feels more personal. Very happy and rebuilding the head was made a lot quicker and cheaper using these files. Well maybe not considering I needed another printer to be able to print them 😅
Thank you again for publishing!
Is this something that might interest you ?
Really nice design, as always @Henlor !
As I've a smart plug, that's OK for me, but I'm quite sure it will please 3D printer fans/collectors like you 🤙.
I want to say thank you for creating this model and the other K1 ones you have. I followed the instructions and i believe it works
@KennyReniff_358201 Thank you! It's much appreciated 🧡
Oh, man! That`s what i need!
I'm currently trying to assemble EnragedRabbit.
Much thanks to you!
@Henlor Hi.
Is it possible to place the sensor below the extruder?
It's required by ERCF, i think so ...
@GeniusUA_539316 it will be harder below. But if I don't mistaken ERCF V2 doesn't require a sensor anymore.
great joob!!
but i have problem this complete CAD model is to big ani can not open them in shapr3D wich i use. i nead drawing of bottom cover plate, i want make my own plate with outlet for air from power suplay. i want change my fan on power suplay but i nead make hols in bottom cover, becouse printer is on waranty i don want cut orginal cover, i want print may own version. can you public step file with bottom cover.
Great work, very well designed. Based myself on your files to design my own cooling duct and it was definitely helpful.
@eugenions_373413 super cool! thanks for sharing 💚
