I like the simplicity of this box, and the walls are just the right balance of thickness to make it feel dainty yet solid.
For those off you too cheap to buy a 12 foot section of PVC Piping (like me) - If you boil a 45 degree coupling (they're about 6-7 inches long) it'll easily revert to its straight form, and the flare will even shrink down to normal size + Just enough to provide a friction fit in the hole.
My mom makes glass beads, Not ENTIRELY sure if she needs this, but in typical 3D Printing hobbyist fashion - PRINT ALL THE THINGS! (Gift for her birthday, along with your other designs - Thank you!)
Thanks for posting!
(Also, Bolts need to be 1.25 inches long. I eyeballed it and the bolts in the picture are 1 inch of tread and it wasn't enough to reach the locknut.)
The only other thing is that when you lay the STL flat in prusa - Most of the "legs" are a single layer off the print bed. Since it was just a single layer and it usually "smooshes" the first layer fairly good - I sent it anyway without supports and had zero issues. Just added a texture to the "2nd" layer that was attached to the print bed.
@Sudz_468926 Thanks for adding all this advice! In that vein, I guess you could also use a sprinkler riser instead of buying a big pipe ( https://www.amazon.com/Orbit-38109-4-Inch-8-Inch-Risers/dp/B00004S21O).
Weird that you had that first layer problem, that does not show up for me in Bambu Studio.
