I thought this would come preloaded on my new FLSun printer but it wasn't. Thanks for having it here so I could download/print it!
Printed on Infimech XT / Flyingbear S1 in ABS. Easy print with minimal tree support used. Works perfect in my FLSUN S1 PRO. Thanks for sharing!
I made this last night, it works pretty well and is easy to assemble. I ended up using foam tape instead of agents, I only have 6 x 3 magnets, I find it much harder to get good quality 5 x 3's (edited)
It works perfectly. However, I had to use 8 x 3 magnets because I didn't have any others.
Printed nicely in Prusament PETG, but the fit was off on my Series X. Should probably have been 2-3mm longer, but I haven't measured the difference yet.
@PS_82745 Review your printer dimensional settings, it's working without issue, tested on two Series X.
Fits perfectly in a coex spool with the little gripper prints as well.
I was having trouble with spools getting pulled off the rollers and/or "twisted" inside the Sunlu S4 dryer when they became too light. This fixed the problem!
Nice design, and (bonus!) I already had the 500g weight, having purchased it a few months ago to calibrate a scale. Thread clearance is absolutely perfect; smooth like butter. Fits all my spools (a couple brands did need the extenders).
Great job, thank you very much for the design!
A version for a lager silent fan would be great!
at least tell us how its an improvement
@DanaVogel_1163805, lol. I did. I wanted to know how it improves it, that's just aesthetics. plus the fan mounting part worked fine before. it just popped in. didn't need screws and the original had 4 legs for OCD reasons. I guess you didn't take a minute to read it.
@RetroD I did, but I would not want something that vibrates to just slide in and then sit upside down at all, to me the screws were a def improvement. Less material for same result is not esthetics it's improving efficiency, and waste. To me asking someone.several times how it's an improvement and then telling him he's still not answering your question is fronting on a slight harrassment that's why I was backing this print up and commenting. Im sure they just like me seen an improvement in it and posted it like that.
The fitment is a bit tight overall, but it does work and I had some foam gasket tape on hand. The tolerances could be a bit better though as I had to sand down the mating surfaces to fit.
Any chance you'd be willing to share the CAD files to allow modifications?
It works well enough on a stock SR, but I'm not really happy with your choice of licenses, since in order to make modifications to fit my modified SR, and to then release a scad file for others to use, I've had to create a legally distinct version with a different design from scratch.
Nice! Sick of trying to find decent 4510 fan. Is 4010 enough though? Wouldn't it be better to put a couple of good old 5015-s there?
What part of the Extruder does this go into? I think I am missing one in mine. Is it where the filament enters into the Extruder? Or at the bottom where it exits?
what filament i must to use ?
Thank you. Would you care to share the step file? Would really like to remix it :)
Always wanted the CPAP to recycle the air within the chamber. This mod allows you to do that. Highly recommend if upgrading your S1 (non-pro) with the Silent Kit. DO NOT FLASH THE MOTHERBOARD EVEN THOUGH THE KIT RECOMMENDS IT.
