@Thanhtacles_252886 If you mean without a metal shaft, I leave you the job, because I do not believe on a sturdy unit with a plastic shaft.
Peace. ✌
@mikethewagon Thanks, glad it's useful for you too.
@mikethewagon Its a little hard to see what you changed there, would you be okay with uplaoding the files to your mod?
This design looks great, but it isn't very deep. I tried to put a dimmer switch in and it was too shallow to fit. I will also have to re-print because mine broke almost right away. One of the screw standoffs snapped off as soon as I got a little torque on it, but that is my fault. Next time I will have to maybe remix this a little, and print with thick walls and infill.
Thanks for the design. (edited)
@Gounn You're right. You don't deserve one less star because my expectations were unrealistic. I was just super excited to use your design, and was sad when it didn't work. Updated to 5 stars.
@JBarbot_1407526 Thanks, I did not reply for the rating, but just to clarify the puruse of the design that I still use on a regular basis.
Cheers. ✌
Nice mod. Thanks for sharing.
The model doesn't seem to be the organizer in the photo.
Very good design. Works much better than the original.
You should add some advice for printing :
1- add border for the bottom and top part which have very low adherence surface.
2- add a little bit of support for the bottom parts, just for the small piece which is floating above nothing
3- (not tried) in addition to printing them on the side, turn the wings a little bit to make sure that and edge is touching the bed entirely

I haded your suggestions at the end of the details. ✌
Great and easy print!
I had no spring for the barrel, so i heated up a 1.75 PLA Filament and warped it around the spring guide (with big gaps in the coiling), just make sure to let it cool down when its at it most stretched position, then it will be good enough spring for the purpose
did not printed the display rack
Filaments used:
- Filamentech Black PLA (body)
- ESUN Silk Gold PLA (body, controls, grip, bullet shell)
- ESUN Silk Copper PLA (bullet head)
- ESUN Warm White PLA (magazine spring)
Settings:
- 0.12 mm layer height
- 2 Walls
- 6 Bottom/Top
- Infill 15 - 30% Grid
- Organic Tree Support (edited)
Works great. My spool holder needed recessed holes!
@dm_289036 Glad it also worked for you. :-)
Do not have place on the side or behind P1P for q chute to stand, so I printed this small one with PLA on P1P.
Cutted the above part as I did not see a need to completely close the upper end, and it is working - everything is finding its way into this little chute.
Glued 4 x 6mm magnets - chute is held in place easily.
Thanks for this helpful Make :-) (edited)
Thanks for sharing.
The press-in-parts are a tight fit. Had to hammer them in.
Wish the rolls were 10mm longer for a bit wider spools.
Works great :) ty (edited)
@Gounn Oh wow :) you didnt have to but thynk you very much will print it right away :)
@Mobot Was not a big deal. Glad it will help somenone. 😁
I like the spool holder, the only change I would make is to get rid of the need for supports for the main arm. The rounded edge looks nice, but I'm too lazy to want to deal with the need to print supports. The author put a nice spacer block in there anyway to offset, and I will just make it a smidge thicker if needed. (edited)
@Codi_290131 What filament did you print with? Looks pretty close to the faceplate colour.
@MozzieT_1023044 Nebula Pla Carbon black
and I'm finally done! Ran out of filament half way through printing the chassis :/
Apologies about the grotty display - didn't notice until I'd uploaded...
I went for dark tinted 3mm perspex sides to match the front glass, but didn't like the way the magnets showed through so had a mini brainwave. Got some magnetic tape from amazon, which worked out about the same as buying a pack of magnets - 3mm thick, 20mm wide instead, which is very unobtrusive.
I've added the handles as well - used 200mm 3.5mm steel bars (amazon again), very solid.
Thanks for an awesome design anyway - I much prefer it to the P1S option :)
@arfield_141034 Nice sparkling red. What is it PLA or other ?
As you said, the magnetic tape is a good alternative with translucent material.
Thanks for sharing your make, glad you liked it.
@Gounn Fillamentum Vertigo Cherry, PLA :)
what do you use to hold it together ?
@terrppss_987564 The axel (pivot point) is a little nail or similar and a drop of glue to hold the base at right spot.
Printed in Overture PETG. Works very well and prints easily, but it doesn't turn smoothly if you use the handle due to the uneven tension. Granted, incredibly smooth when you use the base in the middle!
