Fun print, nice design. Very strong using PETG and four perimeters.
Nicely designed. Used it for the LED, filter and for a raspberry 4 with camera in the front right corner. Looks very clean now.
Solid, smooth and (mostly) hexagonal! Comfortable to hold, and works well.
Very helpful for leaving space in my stacked setup. Used here on top of the enclosure rather than the bottom (edited)
@Nix7c0 Thanks for your Feedback! Cool idea to use it that way. I have built an extra adapter for stacking as well https://www.printables.com/model/317371-stacking-adapter-original-prusa-enclosure
@GiantBrain I just saw those today and probably would have used em if I'd known!
Loved this model! I found it extremely accurate and was able to design multiple parts for my mk3 enclosure
Very handy design, and easier to use than the other stacking mod I went with for my first pair of enclosures. Liking it a lot so far
These stacking feet have been incredibly useful for organizing our printers. We currently have them stacked up to three high, which is perfect for our setup. I wouldn't recommend stacking them higher than that, as they can become harder to reach. The shorter feet with pads have been great at reducing vibration. Initially, there was a bit of vibration, but it settled down nicely over time.
One thing to note is that when removing a printer from the higher stack, you need to be careful. We did break one foot when taking the highest printer down for maintenance, but other than that, they have been very strong and reliable. The fit is perfect, and they provide excellent stability. we did use PLA, It probably would be stronger if we used PETG. Also the Prusa Galaxy Black matches the boxes really well
Overall, these stacking feet have made a significant difference in our workspace, keeping everything organized and efficient. Highly recommended for anyone looking to stack their printers! (edited)
Realy nice design, fits perfect an looks greate!!! Thank you!
Fits great, just make sure you don't squeeze the wires between the two shells. It gives a lot more grip on the plug.
This should be an official part.
Printed in Prusament PETG Jet Black.
@Balu Thanks for your Feedback and Make :)
Maybe I don't understand the problem with the silver power supply. It looks like it would work just fine even without your cover. Is the problem that there are exposed wires? I'm trying to figure out why Prusa is saying their quick-release add-on won't work with the silver.
@kevinbakon Hi you just need the connectors an longer wires to make it run the cover is optional :)
@GiantBrain @kevinbakon Yeah, I used the word compatibility, but that wasn't the right word. The power supplies are compatible with each other. It's more the fit and finish. For me, although I'm capable of changing the wiring, I didn't want to mess with that this go around. It was easier to me/for me to get the black psu.
Can I buy the original Prusa add-on and then cut and extend the cables? It's only a few tin welds, and I find it easier than working with plugs, pins, and sockets. Is it feasible or is there something I'm missing?
@Nessuno0505_6893 I Think should work :)
Printed in ASA CF, 4 perimeters and 50% infill. Should work very nicely. Thank you
Works well, perfectly fit
