Not 100% finished yet. Great for my little boy
Only printed the garage part (might fully print another one) nothing bad to say, good job !!
Super cool idea! I need to print it in 0.4 again because with 0.6 i got some trouble with the overhangs and the look is not so smooth.
@Otty_Skipper_411922 i’ve printed using 0.4 nozzle and 0.2mm layer height, for smoother finish and better looks I would even consider less than 0.2 layer
Which printer did you use to print this out. My Prusa MK3s+ seems to have too little printing area for this model. Any suggestions? Thanks.
@jendakolda I've used Snapmaker A350, it has 320 x 350 x 330 mm bed. I had to play with the part rotation to make it fit the bed and possible to print. Unfortunately MK3S+ looks too small as far as I see...
hi, is it possible for you to resize it to fit 230mm printer ? thank you in advanced
@mis3ry_315344 Count me in as well. Very interested to get it to print in my 220x220mm bed.
Using one in my car and at the entrance of my house, great make. Thank you.
This is the way!
Fits good. I'm using it to hold up a bag filled with empty plastic bottles, so I can't say anything about the strengh.
I had to move the glass pane to the side a little bit to fit the hook, but since they're not fixed, that was no problem.
@toddolino_247922 nice you're finding a use for it! Original intention was hanging the headphones, but seems it's useful for other things too :-)
It seems that the exact model of powerbank this is made to fit has been discontinued. My slightly newer version only partially fits, the one on the left, it’s a little more square sided.
@3DTom_1003526 nice print, it's also satisfying to know someone finds it useful!
@Geddy thanks, agree with you!
Great design - I can tell you took your time getting all the details right - the cleat to lock into the frame, the magnetic placement, everything. Thanks for a very solid design!
@BricDesigns_1271962 it's always nice to hear back from someone who finds my creations satisfying. Glad to know it serves well the purpose for you!
Was going to design something like that myself, I had no idea they're so common that I'll find that one. Nice design, perfect fit, now I need more darts. :D
Works perfectly and love having the filament inside the enclosure to keep it clean and reduce my machine's footprint (edited)
Have been looking for a nice way to put the spool inside the enclosure of my Snapmaker 2 A350 without limiting the build volume size. This looks like the best one out there. Might pair it up with a filament guide to ensure a straight pull on the roll.
@takeonprojects thanks for sharing! Good to know it works well for you too :)
@legoguy wow, looks beautiful! Mine has so many, would take ages to print for all :D
@legoguy awesome, thank you for sharing! I've just updated modules with additional bottom row with standing base as well as one with 3mm screw holes on the backside to enable convenient screw attachment. You may find it here: https://www.printables.com/model/425429-hotwheels-minigt-164-modular-cars-display-updated
Could have been better if u can add a rear closed and front slidable clear acrylic door slot option so that we can custom cut a door too
