where's the stl of the grid?
where's the stl of the grid?
@BenjaminR_1338789 I was not so happy with a printed switch plate/gird but I added the stl for yopu here.
I used this FR4 switch plate/grid https://splitkb.com/collections/cases-and-plates/products/aurora-lily58-low-profile-case?variant=43553015333123 which is more stable for my liking.
What print do you have under the acrylic OLED cover? I want to hide the electronics
@Gabbajoe Gotcha, tried to print this, but it doesn't seem to be able to be added after the oled is soldered on.
@Drudoo_616733 This model is meant to be used if you use with sockets and pins for the OLED. But I think you can modify it or create a new modle that you can simply put over the OLED. My simple hack would something like, see attached picture, and cut away the blue highlighted part.
Great model @Gabbajoe ! What type of screws would we need to use for this build?
@jamesk_1510049 Hi I used M2x6mm screws for top and bottom and the M2x8mm spacer. also thank you for letting me know that missed this detail, I added it now in the description too. (edited)
Hey! Nice work!
I am also getting a lily58 and going to 3d print my case. I was wondering what infill you used and what you recommend? Also, I saw that you ordered spacers and so on from the store , the 'case hardware'. I didn't do this (I forgot) and was wondering how many spacers and screws / what kind (M3 , M2 , lenght) so that I can order some online (I am from Sweden)
@GabrielSkog_2386740 Here the screws details:
10 x M2x6mm spacers
20 x M2x4mm screws for top and bottom
4 x M2x8mm screws with hex nuts for the MCU cover
