I love this, but couldn't help but think that this would've been an easier print if you'd split the barbell's shaft from at least one of the sleeves, and just slot them into the sleeves. That'd probably work for the model without the hands, at least.

This was a super fun idea, and it to helps motivate me to keep working out!
Printed everything in PETG and used PLA as support interface. The petg allows the bar to be flexible, which was super helpful when I'm finagling the poses together with the bars with hands on them.

@DrKLitz_1007078 I see. I'm familiar with them. We use them at my day-job for prototyping.
As-printed from PC, I have cut plenty of 7075 aluminum with my water cooled 1.5kw 80mm spindle without issue.
If you want, I could print and ship them to you from PC or PC-CF much cheaper than xometry machining.
I don't ship often these days, but the print would be about $22 ea at 50% triangular infill, 4 walls, with .15LH on my Pruxa XL, plus shipping cost.
