Is there a spacer missing? It looks like there is a black part that takes up the space between the model and the drill bit. Otherwise the space is too large.
Printed perfectly without supports (in ABS).

I had this printed on a big printer in the university. Let´s see how well it works
Nice design. I like the simple adjustment with some M3 cap screws & nuts. I used some 8 mm silver steel for the bars and some M5 cap screws to hold it in place (as I didn't have any hex head ones). I haven't fitted the knob yet as I need to get hold of a hex head set screw for that.

Super Cute! Sadly I didn't realize that the Hemma Lamp from IKEA wouldn't work with it, so I ended up recreating it in CAD and making a remix that works. Awesome Idea!!!
Thanks for publishing this model, realy like it. I finally found time to finish it and the result is great. For those interested I added the coverplate I used as a remix to this model
