Looks better than HG. Waits to be painted.

I printed more aggressive version an I have to tell I can only use it over t-shirt, not on bare skin as it is so brutal :-D Anyway, great model, works as promised.
@MarioBulejko That's why I worked up the less abrasive version. It was very effective. You might try sanding down the tips a bit to make them less aggressive.
Not what it was originally designed for but I scaled it down and sliced what I needed for the trophy wall in my Jabba’s palace diorama.
@Starwarslvr_2099541 that’s awesome. It’s hard to find exactly what you’re looking for sometimes. That why I love having the ability to make whatever I need.
@CNCBee47_1831856 Looks good. really tried to dial in the linkage. strength with freedom.
Nice job on the model, it prints really well. I needed it in a hurry (!) so used Ludicrous speed on my Bambu A1, it came out perfectly.
Beautiful print. What layer ht did you use? I’m purchasing a P1S combo next month. I can’t wait to work with Bambu
@DrSwaster I was in a hurry, so I slapped on the adaptive layer height in Bambu Studio and called it a day. I usually get pretty good results that way - it's worth learning how to adjust layer heights manually as well.
Great design. I printed a few test prints and they turned out great. The fit is a little snug, but the wings stay in place. This is the 5th year I have printed Christmas Cards. Will need about 100 to mail out. I did change the logo to 2024.
@davewilson glad they are working out for you. I did the same the year I made them. Everyone loved them
@DrSwaster Thanks for the design! Everyone loves them
The image shows an adjustable phone clip, doesn't appear to be in the files, where could I get it?
This was exactly what I was looking for. Had to run a few test prints to get my settings right for the bottom, but the final was perfect. If you try to make this dont be afraid of increasing the line width to beef up the walls. I'm looking forward to printing more of these in the future. (edited)
Works great and just enough light to fill my 6 man tent without being too bright.
@Fearless were you able to scale it properly the first time? Or did it take a couple of iterations?
@DrSwaster Got it right in 1 print, but I kinda cheated. Expanded the model along the X and Y axis 4mm larger than the torch, then used a negative cylinder to cut the proper hole.
Love these. I had bought a bunch of those little flash lights this summer for the kids (however they've apparently destroyed them all and none would turn on **facepalm**. They DID fit on them perfectly however. So I scaled it down a little bit to fit onto some other flashlights we have. Printed great in only 20 minutes. My daughters being Hermione for Halloween, so this will be her "magic wand" :D thanks so much for the file ^_^
@KaitMeu1225 I obviously printed the blunt ones because kids are stabby midgets Hahaha
@KaitMeu1225 may your daughter be the “Brightest” witch of her age!
@DarkZor_131389 that looks great. I noticed the other day that I completely subconsciously designed it like Apple Park. Hope you enjoy having it on display. My son loved his, as does his friends. They want copies.
Printed on Bambu Lab P1S in Polymaker CosPLA type A at .42 layer height. Great model, used a heat gun to mold it to my face better.
@critter42_21501 jeez must be hot man be careful to your face :D I'm trying to fit it onto my face using a 3D scan and Blender's sculpting tools. I'll update you if I succeed!
@hosgungor_1912379 I'm used to doing the same thing for facemasks made from EVA foam - domino masks, batman cowls, etc - heat it up with a heat gun until just warm enough to be uncomfortable but not burn, slap it on my face and when it cools, I have a form-fitting mask that requires a lot less spirit gum to hold in place.
