tail is broken

Hi there, would you be able to elaborate?
I have printed the full model a few times and have had no bother with the tail when attaching.
Dommage que le model n'ai pas le crochet inclut directement dans la pièce principale. j'ai pas réussi à le placer.
@DieHard
A notch as on this model https://www.printables.com/fr/model/420107 . It's a shame because your model looks nice and it's easy to print. Note that in my photos I used a PLA at the end of its life :)
@Ckalp_V3D
Ahhh I understand now, from what I can remember when testing I did give it a try but found the glider occasionally got caught on the rubber band and fell to the ground. Iβll definitely try and improve it for future models when I get around to making them π
@Twisty3DPrints Thank you, Happy flying! :)
Fun little flyer. Certainly does go the distance. Might try a glow in the dark version next for some night flying. Thanks for sharing.
I didn't download this to hold chopsticks, I downloaded it because it's one of the nicest rabbit models I've found so far. I printed it fuzzy in gold and think it turned out quite nice. Great work there @DieHard
Thanks for the review @OmegaTI. It looks great!
awesome bunny, i made it 50% smaller. make great Easter gifts for the children that they can draw on
Any chance you can upload it as an STL file ? My daughter would love this.
Hi @Oneballthats_1896381, I have uploaded a .stl version of this model for you and hope your daughter likes the model!
Can I ask what slicer you use as the mojority should accept the .3mf file format?
@DieHard I'm running a minimalist setup currently... Working primarily from my phone using the anycubic slicer built into app.
Overall it is a good idea, but when I printed it out the strength of the model was not to the highest level. The infill was 20% and the level height was 0.3 mm; the model snapped at about the halfway point when I was removing the supports, but I suspect that more infill/smaller layer height/thicker walls would make it better (possibly larger to make it easier to remove supports)
Nice design! any recommendations regarding print orientation or support placement?
@Marlin thanks! I printed with the nose of the horse and front hoof on the bed with the tail in the air. This allows for the intricate detail of the car and uses (what I found to be) the least amount of supports to do so.
On that note Iβd definitely recommend using organic supports.
Any other questions let me know, happy printing! π
Beautiful!! i designed some stuff like this, a mustang mach one, and pontiac gto, your pony looks great!
I like this idea, but dont think i would be able to use PLA, and havent tried other plastic yet.
Hi @CalvinPagnot_1600399,
I personally printed using PETG however I do believe PLA should me more than capable of supporting the steering wheel as long you orient the print as seen in the G-Code.
This will ensure the print wonβt snap across the biggest weak point being the layer lines (also saving on supports)
If you decide to print let me know how goes π
