Hello I have Question Do this fits on a k1max ?
Thanks

@jasperSchelli_369010 Thanks for asking this. Unfortunately this seems like a route I have investigate too.

@BabakRezai_1372502 did you ever find out if these are the same for the Max? They look the same.

@fred2u_1396529 can you use this gantry with the fatboy xy joints and 8mm belt? Looks like you have, anything i should know before i try this?
Thanks!

@JakeRiley_1163384 The 8mm belt was not working for me, the belt went out of the pulley.

Can you provide more information on this mod? Have you changed the control board? what length belts are you using?

hello, what is the best material to make these fasteners from.

View 4 more comments

@iTzdeniedBea_1332183 yes the printer prints consistently on all axes but i also have a linear gantry installed

@iTzdeniedBea_1332183 I printed three fasteners at once, the plastic profile was calibrated, the shrinkage was taken into account and the necessary corrections were made. There were no difficulties during assembly, the bearings of the guides entered with a slight hand pull. In general, after use, I did not notice any over-the-top changes for the better or for the worse.

https://www.amazon.com/POLISI3D-Upgrade-Coupling-Compatible-Printers/dp/B0C1NFZ3Y6 for those who are looking for the couplers, I found the same ones he used (I think, the product images are the same on the Amazon page. correct me if i'm wrong)

Can anyone at all clarify if these will fit on an ikea lack table still?

thank you for all your efforts would you put into designing these legs they are really wonderful and works perfectly printing was absolutely easy and I use a red petg. combining with the full door hinge. I see some improvements also in input shaper and over all stability

Thanks DED this is hands down amazing, Creality take notes and do this from the factory. Note to anyone installing, I used the bed screws to hold the power supply loosely in place, rotated the mount for the rails and started top right 4x20 SHCS then rotated part into place and installed bottom left 20mm SHCS then mounted rest of hardware. Beautiful fit in every regard: screw holes and countersinks, sliding parts, and snap-in retention.

My only issue is that my Creality sensor has a very large reinforced segment of the cable that I need to tie back to avoid having it hit the gantry during Y-axis homing.

Work good but the part on the sensor is hard to snap, I broke one wing, but it work at the end. I could be great to have also the 3 parts in a separated file if we need to only print again one the 3.

A few errors in the instructions: the screw needed for the tool head is 8mm not 6, because the tool head original screw are 6mm not 4mm.

@Raveniarty_1161140
typically parts that fit together require a well tuned printer. fitment could have been too tight, had to force the wings too much and break
also, i dont need to upload everything separately. you just need to know how to right click>split to objects..

@Raveniarty_1161140 hi, can you probe ADXL345 port (colored wires) to USB-C port pinout?

I do not own on of these yet as I'm still deciding on if I should get another Creality or not. Would it be a bit better if the adjustment was adjustable? What I mean is that you could move the adjustment wheel in and out to add or reduce the tension instead of applying a single level of pressure on the belt? Just a thought. I know that I don't like the V3 KE's belt tensioning as well as no manual leveling at all for the bed. But I'm sure that the community will or already has figured out how to overcome these, as you are doing.
Addedum: LOL. I just looked at the remix. Already done. (edited)

Need to know who as installed this on their KE ??? And how did you managed to install the Beacon Module in Klipper ??? Nebula pad cannot seem to be able to support this script as it is a Klipper clone and missing files or so ?!? tks

View 2 more comments

@Woodbum_1872720 Destinal has a custom image where you can install the beacon module... you would have most likely found that out if you had checked the devil design discord like i suggested instead of bothering the annex guys with it (edited)

@DerrickDarrell ya well i'm kinda new in the game and have been looking on the discord about that but either i am blind or don't know how to search, so many posts i can't pinpoint it dude ... sorry for the agravation and, bothering annex guys, they are there for this purpose too no !?! And i did made a post on D3vil to get some help or pointers ... no need to throw any attitude buddy 😉🍻

Still waiting for some parts to de-Nebula my KE, but really stoked to get this lil guy mounted. Thanks for the model Derrick! Haven't seen anyone post a make yet but mine turned out nice. Overture Clear PETG, 4 walls, 100% infill. It's no ABS but it'll do I think.

@potatoattack_2322136 Mine ended up having some mechanical problems and got sent to the Bezos printer graveyard, but you can swap the KE main board for an SE board, which has an SD card slot for loading firmware, and a USB port for serial. Then host Klipper on another computer (like a Raspberry Pi). You'll lose the "auto Z-offset" feature but that never worked well on my KE anyways. (edited)

Hello, how do make the sensor working. My KE always says that no sensor is connected

@DerrickDarrell The two side pieces are to far from the ground. Could you divide them? I'm new and really don't now how to do that myself.

Did a quick test and the results speak for themselves. Highly suggest this mod if you print a lot of high temperature materials. I did buy the Berserker fans from west 3D they have almost double the CFM than the WINSINN fans shown in the picture.

Got the K1 Max up to 61c after a 30 minute heat soak with the fan add ons.

Before I was getting 42c to 47c chamber temps.

Definately a big help with higher temp materials that need a enclosure or heated Chamber.

Great Design. Will be adding to the rest of our K1 flight.

Thanks Darrell, cant wait for the z mods I saw you showing off on the d3vil design discord

The only thing i added was the Creality logo. the supports inside were a little difficult to remove i probably could have messed with it in the slicer a little more but other than that it was an easy print Thanks

@Henlor you're correct I have the 3d chameleon system but I haven't gotten around to messing with it yet

@KentBrown_506954 Would you mind updating on your experience with the 3d Chameleon when you have time? I've been looking at that for a bit, just waiting for Best Buy to get my K1 Max delivered.

I managed to complete this install on my K1 Max. It took some extra work though. For starters, you have to sacrifice the lidar because the calibration plate will block where the 2nd fan needs to go, so it has to come off. I removed the plate and the lidar itself since the last couple times I tried to use it, it wouldn't work anyways. Next, you have to modify the hotbed wire support bracket. It's held in by three screws so you have to take it off, cut it down into a "L" shape like in my photos. Then you have to move it back one of the screw holes and put it back in so that it's held by 2 screws, instead of 3. After that, every else was exactly as described and I'm very happy with the end results. I actually prefer the better cooling over the lidar anyways. Thanks for the file and parts list, greatly appreciate it :)

@Tolvelski_1050944 for anyone else with the K1 Max here is a printable strain-relief bracket that wont get in the way of this mod. It uses the back two screw holes and a zip-tie
https://www.printables.com/model/708519-bed-cable-strain-relief-k1-max

@MeetPatel_1267374 Why don't just move a little bit towards the back, to clear the Lidar thing and try to model the fan exit port a bit tilted, pointing towards the center? I think that may work and leave the original lidar in place. Probably its going to sacrifice a bit of the left-front colling of the model, but it still going to be an upgrade without taking out the lidar. I know no one uses it, but with future firmware, it may be a relevant thing to use.

Mind sharing the Stp file for it ?
I want to remodel it to fit my Rook printer, but mirroring it fro a stl with over 10K triangles is a hell of a job :)

Works great, and seals the gap behind your control panel.

Doesn't work with K1 Max (the notch doesn't fit). Would be nice if you could add in the description that this is not for K1 Max.
Thanks!
