These clips are a lifesaver when installing a light in the peak. The slots allow you to put a screw in (loosely), then install the light and cord, install the second side (loosely) that then slide everything into place and lock it down. Working at the top of the ladder is tricky enough and the modular design for this mount allow you to do it a piece at a time. Thanks for posting this!
