This is awesome. I’ve been interested in stained glass for a few years ever since I took a class and I always thought there would be a cool way to do a 3d printing spin on it.

I watched the tutorial video probably 15 times and I’ve even created a few of my own patterns this week. I purchased the resin and products recommended in the video from your links so I hope there was some type of affiliate link kickback.

Great video, fun project. I’ll be doing this with my kids and their friends. I’m planning on making some Christmas tree ornaments like this as well to give to neighbors.

Thank you for the designs and the well thought out tutorial.

I've used your ideas to turn some of my partners art into suncatchers and its fantastic, thank you!

I have found for maximizing clarity you can spray the backs of the prints with a clear aerosol varnish (or if you were precise enough some resin). This hides the transparent filament pattern and actually increases light transmission.

Super project. For those just looking for an awesome box for a 3.5" speaker, scale to 78%, that was perfect my kicker speaker. I'd love some light indents or guides built right into the box for putting the question mark on, then I wouldn't have to measure :)

Great design I really love this project sounds really good. just finished to put it together, waiting on the light to arrive to complete the project. More pictures coming soon light base and light cover printed on the Bambu X1 AMS looks great. THANK YOU D.I.Y Machine for this awesome project had a lot of fun building.

@Elite55600381_949228 Wow, that multicoloured print looks amazingly crisp and professional! Great work and thank you for sharing some photos. :)

@DIYMachines You're Welcome. I can't wait to see what you will come up with it next. Cheers.

Printed nicely with a generous 8mm brim for the pin part, does the job and stacks well but the side hooks are a bit small and weak and have more slop in the resulting connection between boxes than I would like.
I made the lid by adding another instance of the main part and using a negative volume to prevent all but the first bit printing.

A really fun project! Couldn't have done this without the very detailed video and circuit boards. Thank you so much for sharing!

The peace, the soldering and the overal quality isn't perfect but that's room for improvement! I bought 10 circuit from pcbway so I will definitely make some more in the future when I come with a fun new design.

The peace sign is copyrighted and owned by a Dutch YouTuber but I am willing to share the stl via p.m.

@DIYMachines Awesome peace design on Etsy! And a lot more led strip friendly too :)

My experience with the Bambu Lab X1 is great so far. The main reason I bought it is the AMS because I didn't want to bother with a Palet or MMU2S. The AMS is plug and play which is great.

But based on posts in Facebook groups I would advice people to wait another year before investing in a Bambu Lab printer. Some parts of the printer are just bad. Like the fans, the hotend design, many people are experiencing severe ringing. It's close to perfect but you shouldn't have to replace a fan after two weeks of printing.

And besides that, owning a Bambu Lab printer has made me appriciate the simplicity, accessibility and repairability of Prusa (and probably other brands) machines even more. Parts everywhere, multiple suppliers, multiple brands, mostly if not fully opensource. Bambu Lab is the opposite of that.

@wootje13 Thanks for your opinion. You hit the nail on the head of why I still use Prusa printers. The Bambu machines have been peaking my interest but I agree with your comments about giving a little more time for a revision and to see if an ecosystem grows around their printers or not. I often break something on my printers when trying something new! But the ease of fixing( finding parts and advice) gets me going in no time and allows me to adventure without too much fear.

Has anyone made a gaming controller one?
I really need it and I will pay you

I actually ended up making three of these. 😁

Trouble free build, the only issue was that I had to reverse the power connection to steam generator on the motor drive board. Main colour was Silk Black PLA, Red PLA, and a little painting for wheels and highlighting using paint pens. Great model which I have only run indoors, may try a garden installation next summer!

@scimsabre_368074 That looks fantastic - thank you for sharing some photos. I really appreciate it.

Thought I would get the ball rolling by showing my own make. This is actually the second one of these I have built. :)
