gonna give this a shot - printed some others and they "bow" outwards when loaded with a full spool - and then don't work in the CFS unit. I actually appreciate its got more material than most - likely makes it solid

I like how beefy the spool holder is, but I printed the pieces separately and then read the note about printing the inside first and screwing I the other side to finish. Any way to get the two pieces screwed together after the fact?
@Jjk75_576313 It's just a tight fit, but I didn't want to make it loose. If you can get it started then just work it back and forth while trying to screw it in. Similar to if you were using a tap threads.
Could you please post a version that has only 2 cans for those of us with smaller print beds?
@bwmartens Sure, I'll try to do this tomorrow. You can also add a "Negative" modifier in Prusa Slicer or Orca Slicer to remove the end. It wouldn't be as clean, but it would work.
just the one I needed and for the same reason, the wife's pleased.
@SiegfridKurz_562404 Happy to hear it. Mine's still holding up after all this time as well.
@slayernine If you have any strength issues with the side clips, I printed mine laying down so they would be stronger. It requires some support material under the top part, but it was pretty easy to remove with a .25 z distance and a little filing got it to fit together perfectly..
Perfect.
I was having trouble with my printer showing up with the T0 sensor error. I figured out that it can be caused by the hotend cable being loose. The original position of it being bent back and zip tied made it come loose. So when I saw this I new it would be the perfect solution. Printed super easily without any supports. Have not had any problems with my printer since I installed it.
0.2 Layer height, PLA, Supports off.
I've noticed that too. Ive just made it a point to close the door. It was still wayy better than ice everywhere! Yet I did manage to acquire some ice build-up around the door. Thanks for the fix. I'll happily print another.
@HottKarl_79712 Awesome, I'm currently trying the settings from a post here recently on how to get transparent PETG to print more clearly. So it might end up looking close to the original. Not that color matters on functional prints.
