Works great! Had some issues with the handle part. And the threaded posts failed the first time. I just blame the new to me printer... is a great handle!

The rim fit perfectly ...however, the spool with the rings on would not stay on the AMS rollers or in the AMS bay. I put a SS ball in the middle giving it more "mass" , but it still slipped and bounced.
@CoznKaos_161125 that sucks can you point to some of these weights. My AMS should be here tomorrow was hoping to get to printing
@MichaelFolz_756929 you can search spool weight or similar terms. They are usually an adapter you fill with weighted objects such as bolts, washers, coins, whatever. Personally I haven't had any noticeable issues with spools in the AMS when they get to light but it is a known issue. (edited)
I printed it out, fits nice and secure. Used petg black plastic, i did have one minor issue, the spool wouldn't rewind properly. Could be just me or this spool of overture, not sure but once i ripped these adapters off the spool rewinds just fine.
This may work better if i did something to it, not sure what, but my ams works fine without it so 4 stars?
maybe this is meant for spools with less plastic. (edited)
Looked for a shelf with a lip, but then couldn't figure out best way to print this. On it's edge with big supports? I felt then the curve would get super ugly with the layer lines. On a face with a _butt-load_ of support (more material than the shelf)? In the end, decided print time and material wasn't worth it for a test piece and printed it face-down and sunk the object through the plate to remove the lip. The style of this design matched its destination, and I loved the attention with screwholes and covers. Thanks. Printed excellently save for one small shift which you can see in the pic but is against the wall so no drama. BBL Ivory White Matte PLA on P1S. (edited)
