Sadly not so good first layer working with support on fixing the issue

@Pixel_586 nice to hear that it is working for you as well
This is what Prusa responded on my question what the longtherm fix is and how often this occurs.

This issue is not very extended, personally I don't remember dealing with any other user having the same issue. I am sure there are more XL units with the same issue you are experiencing, but it is not one of the most recurrent issues with the XL at this moment. Still, I have forwarded your update, and I am checking how we can solve this in your case.

@KeepTheBOX just finished my first full layer test with that new info and its the first time i got a perfect result.
theres also no banding visible in the print at all because i also used a good filament for this test.
looks like this is indeed the entire problem which would kinda make sense given the large print bed will have a lot more movement from heat.

I'm experiencing mostly the same thing. I'll try the preheat trick and report back soon.

@n8maher_858278 Did you add this to the printer starting gcode in the slicer?

@XR3D_1536872 yep! The message part doesn't work, but the preheat does! I have a physical printer in Prusaslicer that contains this in the starting gcode. For prints with a small surface area I do not use it, as the problem only appears when a long time has passed between the mesh bed leveling pass and the deposition of the first layer.
