I really like this idea and appreciate the remix :) Trying to print I head some issues, which might be improved: - At the bottom of the snowman is a gap/hole inside the boat - this might not be visible but still can cause printing issues as above this gap overhang needs to be printed (3rd screenshot) - The snowman was created hollow and not with solid, so instead of printing with (light) configurable infill the snowman is hollow with thick walls - this is waste of print time and filament (2nd screenshot)... - The size of the benchy deviates from the standard benchy - for identical size (if you like to put it in a row with your other benchies you need to scale to some unknown value) - As mentioned at the description (only) the rear brim of the hat needs a support structure- with this the print comes out really nice (unfortunately I missed this detail with my first print, see my second photo)
I solved the first two issues by adding some cubes, spheres and cylinders using the Prusa slicer all placed inside the model - this way I could print without issues with a 10% Gyroid Infill (1st screenshot). But it was quite some fiddling...
Some painting is still missing, but now the Christmas 🎄 decoration for this year is safe :) (edited)
@amazing I appreciate the information! This was my first go at modeling so it definitely helps, I'll have to keep a better eye on the things I'm remixing it seems and will update the files with your suggestions if I can find the time!
What a fun combo :)
