I printed this in ABS and went to hange the trimmer on it and it broke.

@tgrinnall_1780243 Hi, Tim. What part(s) broke? I’ve had mine on and off many times, no problem. And I made it with PLA, not even PLA+.
Did your trimmer get “dropped” onto the mount? Share a picture - and suggestion. Is your printer dialed in for that filament - have you printed a temperature tower for testing?
I can add some strength ribs somewhere of you need…
I made 36 of them and they work and look great. I laser cut boxes for a shoe shelf and then printed them @ 60%. The black on a Resin printer and the color pieces with a FDM printer.
Great knobs, slightly tricky to print because of the small textures, but with a sufficiently clean printbed and slower speeds it still works.
Printed the spool part both in PLA and PETG, and PETG needed the printer to be slowed down to 50% to even get close to a good first layer. Still had a few artefacts, but those could be cleaned after the fact.
The knobs looks amazing after glueing them together and fit my IKEA cabinet and the screws included with them perfectly.
Spools printed in Redline Filament IR-PETG Papyrusweiß and Recycling Fabrik rPLA Flauschiges Schaf, with the filament parts printed in Polymaker Dual PLA Mixed Berries (gives such a gorgeous colour gradient with concentric fill patterns).
Opening in Tinkercad to customize and exporting it's TOTALLY unusable... SO many voids on the bottom... Any ideas?
Like you I didn't like the USB drive sticking out the display, any knock and the USB socket could get wrecked. So this is ideal. Thanks for sharing, Cheers!
@BigE Thanks for posting. Enjoy!
@VinceSeneker It’s not the “best” implementation, but it works for us. Thanks for rating! 😉
Do can you leave in stl?
@Gabriel_2456953 Sorry for the delay. I just uploaded my STL file. I hope it helps! (edited)
