Very nice model, unfortunately I printed version 5 and the slides are very loose, I had to add some doublesided tape in the slots to make it stable.
Thanks for the model!
This is one of my favorite prints ever.
I used GIANTARM Black Silk which gives it a finish like a blued firearm, and then OVV3D wood filament for the grips, a Kona wood stain, and polyurethane finish for the grips.
@Arcayenneist Looks amazing. Glad you like it.
@ScottLux looks awesome
Nice design! Printed on a Bambu Lab P1S using adaptive layer height (Quality/Speed 0.00), Bambu Lab PLA Matte Ice Blue.
(this is the Bird-Buddy-Perch-2HumOut.stl model)
VERY NICE Model!! It's the perfect size. I really love the fact that it locks together while using it and when your done you can take the two parts and nest them for storage. I printed for my grandson's birthday, I'm certain he will get years of use from it. Thanks! (edited)
@ShaneCreech_556569 That is awesome. Thank you for the review. Post a pick of your make if you can.
Got a question… printing on a glass bed, how do I keep the texture on the bottom of the tower, lid, and base ? Debated printing with rafts but thought that might be too much post processing… what do you all think?
@SeanSaunders_1353926 Just print it and turn the fans on full on the 2nd layer. Should bridge nicely.
Fits my Kobra Neo perfectly. Could use some chamfers or filets to look more finished
@KobraC0mmander Per your suggestion I have added a Version 2. I have not yet printed it. Please let me know what you think.
@BiggBadaBoom_1028020 That looks good!
Could you make a model that isn't a wood pattern? I love the design but I don't think the wood would look good with my current PLA color.
@Spoon_625232 I don't know why I did not see this post earlier - but I actually did do that. https://www.printables.com/model/700321-compact-stone-dnd-boxtowertracker
Works great into the factory holes on a Kobra Neo 2. I used M4 x 8mm screws.
@ArrrghGee_1949831 Awesome. I will update the description.
Printed on Ender 3 V3 SE - 180mm/s -with and without supports.
The first file that prints w/ supports (black) is very hard to get the supports off of and the middle blade doesn't have a smooth side because of that. The second file that prints without supports (white) comes out pretty clean looking and both sides of the middle blade come out smooth. I like the second one better. Thank you!
Good prints, for me it was hard to remove from the build plate as it is quite thin so I had to be careful as to not bend it.
