Very cool
@runningturtle08 Looks good!
Works really well! Did some experimentation and found out that the most important parameter to have is the 0.2 layer height (0.3 is already too stiff). Since the model is only 1 layer the mentionned layer height is the first layer height (usually higher than the other layers).
Great Model. My daughter loves the Beads. Just printed the second badge for the Kids Bike Trailer for my son. This time i've tried printing with Glow in the Dark PLA.
For test I printed 1 but now I just started printing more with different colour. My kid is happy:)
Rolls well and has a very interesting shape. The openscad file is nice to have as well to see behind the scene!
@mosselini1_1346202 Glad you like it! If you're interested, I recently made a remix that allows you to print it in vase mode all at once, rather than in two halves.
@Artcfox Thanks for the info, I'm indeed intrigued about this and will surely check it out!
@XYZSpace How did you get that smooth finish?
@lubosz I believe layer height of 0.06-0.08 (i don't remember anymore)
YMMD thanks for this memory from earlier times ... BTW I use this to tear my fishing rods together ;-).
@riethmueller Awesome!
Vasemode improves the model surface nicely. The model feels like a leaf, a breeze will move it around. The lack of weight is compensated by the fact that you can blow on it to make it move.
@mosselini1_1346202 Wow, that looks really nice!
I went surface artifact hunting and needed a small vase mode print with dynamic geometry, and this turned out to be perfect.
Thanks!
@smartphoneas_1382690 Looks great!
