Well done! I had never imagined mounting something from the back.
-Rod

@Rod_21807 thanks! I have this mounted from the back as well as a hook to loop cables around for cable management!

Most business cards are 5,5 cm. So mine unfortunately didnt fit. I will use it for other stuff.

This worked pretty well for me! I used this on an IKEA MALM dresser instead of Alex but I think it's exactly the same drawer design. In case anyone else is a few minutes slow like me, the screws required are #4 x 1/2". Also, I used a 1/16" drillbit which is a bit smaller than recommended (roughly 1.5mm) but it worked great.

I wasn't easily able to screw the two screws through the wedge without first "drilling" a pilot hole (I put my drill bit on a screwdriver handle and manually spun it because my drill wouldn't fit there). After the pilot hole, the screws went in easily enough.

The overall assembly feels really solid! I'm excited that my drawers will no longer fail to close.

Must have addition to the Alex Drawers if you're storing somewhat heavy things, or stacks of paper etc. Noticed my drawer bottoms starting to sag, printed and installed these to hopefully prevent the bottoms from falling out.
