Happy new year 3D printy!
Happy New Year everyone!
It's been another wonderful year for creating models here at 3D Printy. I decided to put together a quick year-in-review video to cover some highlights and share my plans for 2025: https://youtu.be/dR2XV315xCs .
Happy printing and thanks for stopping by :)
Happy new year 3D printy!
@GreggAdventur_325974 ok thanks for your time to reply start save the loose coins again :)
Excellent work :) Thank you for your great work!
I'm a little bit dissapointed by my MMU print. Even with biggest purge voume between black and white, i have greyish color. It's amazing to see the differences between 2 black filaments, i didn't have the problem with another brand. (edited)
@Yogourt Yes, there can be a huge variation in the amount of pigment used - it's also a factor in print temperatures and other filament properties.
@Yogourt Great print! I know in your other comment you mentioned it was difficult to avoid white/black MMU mixing, but I think this turned out very well :)
Would love to see a Bunny come easter
YEEEESSSSS!!! A bunny would be SO sweet!
@Creative3D I love this display and I'm glad to hear those last bits of filament are getting some good use :)
Excellent design, love the game! Board is printed in PolyLite PLA Pro and the tokens are CC3D Silk PLA. Thanks for sharing the model with us!
@ArmyChief_14331 Wonderful! I'm glad you like the model and the game :)
I love it and I will print it. Why not use the 2 feet as look for the board? Then you can store it and have no extra parts.
@DrTob This has been a really popular request, so I'm working on a solution.
Heads up, though, this will require reprinting the board, since the current slots for the feet are too narrow for the lock bar.
UPDATE!
@maltemakes_256366 beat me to the punch with this great remix :)

Very nice - I like the colors you used for the tokens :)
Замечательно. Спасибо :)
@DavidP Wonderful :)
I printed the large and small for my teacher friend to evaluate. Triangles will be covered in the spring.
Had a thought, you could print one more leg and have a class session on rectangles.
Thanks for the model! (edited)
@Jim_281603 Thank you for sharing the design with your teacher friend. You're absolutely right, you could easily expand this into other polygons by just printing more sides :)
Please let me know if your fried has and ideas for other 3D printable projects or improvements to this design. I'm already working on a version that adds a protractor to the corner.
@3DPrinty The eyes and mouth are Jessie Bronze Elixir.
@S_34860 Oh, nice! I haven't gotten their new Elixir filaments yet, but I plan to check them out.
Much nicer with AMS or MMU.. I might need to take the plunge soon..
@Crab Do it…DO IT! 😇
@Crab Yup, I always want to support single color printers (the faces are embossed for easier post-print painting), but there are some aesthetic benefits to MMU/AMS here :)
@pezliz I love how intense the green looks with the black coffin. Lovely print :)
Super easy to print and paint. Kids love the heck out of it. Gonna grab a new spool and try a 300% print =D (edited)
@reconbot Fantastic work! I haven't seen many prints that also colored the claws - it looks great. Good luck with the giant print :)
Printed at 400% scale. Love this design, not only is it beautiful but it also simply prints and does not need supports. Amazing!
Printed on Prusa XL with standard IS settings for a 0.4mm nozzle at .25 layer height. One in Polymaker Matte PLA Grey and one in Overture PETG Rock Marble
@Rob_877760 Woah, TWO giant prints?! Looks like they'd be perfect stationed near a front door as guardians :)
@ibengr Great print! I love that intense green :)
That's fantastic! I love how different these 2 prints looks just due to the filament color :)
@S_34860 Impressive! Looks great in marble too :)
Another wonderful print - the whole gang looks great :)
The first time I printed it the broom stick came out ugly as the slicer was printing it back to back on the layer change and did not have time to cool. I came up with the best solution: print more at once!
@PlenysMV24_1754662 Very good solution ;) Excellent work, once again!
So exciting to have Sculptember back. Weekly mini monsters to look forward to! I printed this fellow in eSun Blue Green and it is definitely green on one side and blue on the other.
I love how it turned out!
@pezliz Fantastic work! Your multicolor finger webs came out better than my own test, so I'm glad to see that working well :)
What a fun print! Came out great, fitting together without any issues, plus it is HUGE
@Firestonevik_1860681 Awesome work! Thanks for posting :)
@ZombieHedgehog Awesome!
A wonderful colorful selection of food. Carrot is currently feeling left out :)
Once again your speed with printing just-released models amazes me :)
Great work! I suspect solving the puzzle might take more time than printing it.
