Strange on the overheating side, I've got mine running for about 3 months now, not noticing any increased temperatures, what percentage are your fans at ?
as a side note my controller fans are running at 80% while printing.
I appreciate the free model. I'm brand new to 3D printing. And model painting I used dirt cheap. Apple Barrel paints That sat in a shed. For a fat minute So don't judge it too much. Just look like you needed A make. Done on the flash Forge Adventure 5m. Definitely a good beginner printer.
The socket for the actual holder bit at the top could be improved on. It's not deep enough or the right shape for a very secure fit without gluing
@IbrahimHaida_2165455 Hi, the top part is loose by design, and does ned glue, this is to allow you to pitch the headphone rest to your liking
@3DMagic Thanks for the reply, rating adjusted (edited)
I'm currently printing this one, now on my third attempt. It seems my printer has some troubles with the logo embedded in the base plate. I've raised the bed temp to 70 degrees Celsius, and now it seems OK. I'll update when finished.
Sehr schönes Model. Einziger Negativpunkt, es sind sehr fiel kleine Flächen die man stützen muss, daher ist das Entfernen der Schtüzstrukturen horror.
@isi666_583425 Yes I've found the same, I've been attempting to design variants that are completely modular and just need assembling afterwards.
I did the entire circular part of the base piece as solid bottom layer lines, to increase weight. The connection point for the upright to the base was CRAZY TIGHT! However, the connection between the upright and top piece was CRAZY LOOSE. Ended up having to use super glue to connect the loose pieces.
PLA
Layers: 0.12mm
Bottom layers: 33
Top layers: 7
Print speed: 60mm/s
Tree support at 70 degree max overhang/angle.
Ender 3 S1 on Sonic pad.
Base part took 29.5 hours
I didn’t re-read the instructions, and printed the upright with 50% infill. Hopefully it’ll be sturdy enough to hold up to repeated cycles of headphones on and off of the stand.
Even if it isn’t strong enough, all it’ll take is reprinting.
I went a little extreme on the tree supports, and they ended up breaking off one of the arms. A little bit of super glue fixed it right up!
@MindblownMaker3D Sorry for the late reply firstly, and yes I designed the base and the arch to be very tight for little sway, however, the top part is loose as it allows you to alter the headphone lean to your preference :)
once the headphone lean is set to your preference, super glue is required (edited)
@3DMagic No worries on the late reply. :)
In the end, I gave it to my nephew for his birthday.
He uses it daily, and absolutely loves the design!
